The email looks different in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail

Each email app shows messages its own way, so some differences are expected, especially in fonts. Turn on Pixel-perfect headlines so headings arrive in your font in every inbox, and check with test emails before sending.

Fonts

Some email apps, Gmail included, don't show every font you choose, so text appears in a fallback font. To make headings arrive in the same font in every inbox:

  1. 1. Open Newsletter Style (Opens in the Mujaz app).
  2. 2. Under “Advanced Settings”, turn on “Pixel-perfect headlines”.
  3. 3. Press “Save”.

Headings are sent as images, with the words kept for readers who turn images off. It's on every plan. Body text may still show in a fallback font in some apps.

Images

  • Some readers turn images off. Write “Alt text” for every image so they know what's in it.
  • Accepted images: JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP up to 5 MB. SVG isn't accepted.

Dark mode

Add a dark-mode logo in Brand (Opens in the Mujaz app), or light and dark email logos in “Logo Management” in Newsletter Style (used while Brand Integration is off).

Text direction

If Arabic text shows from the left, open the issue in the editor, and in the side panel's “Settings” tab set “Newsletter Language” to العربية for right-to-left.

Check before sending

  1. 1. In the editor, switch between “Desktop”, “Mobile” and “Preview”.
  2. 2. In the Review step, press “Send Test Email” to Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail addresses, up to 5.
  3. 3. Open each one in the app your readers use.

Common questions

Can I upload my own font?

No. Choose from the Arabic and English fonts in Newsletter Style.

The issue looked wrong after sending. Can I edit it?

A sent issue can't be edited. Duplicate it and send a corrected copy.

  • Newsletter Style: fonts and colours

In Settings → Newsletter Style you pick the headline and body fonts for Arabic and English, the email colours and the email logos, then press Save. It applies to every issue.

  • Send a test email before you send

In the editor's Review step, send a test copy of the issue to yourself before it reaches subscribers. Each issue can be tested to up to 5 different addresses, and every test counts toward your monthly email allowance.

  • Brand settings

In Settings → Brand you set your newsletter's name (the sender name in the inbox), description, logo, colours and social links. Press Save at the top of the tab after any change.

  • Editor blocks

An issue is built from blocks you add from the Content Blocks panel. Text, image, button, quote, divider, spacer, layouts, YouTube and social icons are on every plan; Cards are Lite and up; the HTML block and dynamic blocks are Starter and up.
