A tour of the dashboard

The sidebar holds every part of Mujaz: newsletters, posts, subscribers, analytics, growth, team and settings. The Dashboard shows a summary of your account and the Getting Started checklist.

The sidebar is on the left in English and on the right in Arabic. On a phone, open it from the menu button at the top.

Top of the sidebar

The yellow Create Newsletter button starts a new email issue. It stays disabled while your workspace has no subscribers, so add at least one first. The create button on the Newsletters page is never disabled.

The Profile button opens a menu with View Public Page, My Profile, Billing, Contact support and Log out. Next to it, the languages icon switches between English and العربية.

What's on the Dashboard

  • The Getting Started checklist: set up your brand, add your first subscribers, create your first newsletter, send a test email, send it.
  • Mujazly's note for this week: your best issue of the week and one thing to try. It shows when you sent something in the last 7 days; × hides it.
  • Your numbers for the last 30 days, your latest newsletter, subscriber growth and recent newsletters.
  • Trial and usage banners when they apply.

In the bottom corner of every screen is the Mujazly button — the assistant that answers your questions about Mujaz.

Common questions

Why is Create Newsletter in the sidebar disabled?

Your workspace has no subscribers yet. Add one in Subscribers (Opens in the Mujaz app), or start the issue from the create button on the Newsletters page.

How do I change the dashboard language?

Press the languages icon next to Profile at the bottom of the sidebar. If you don't see it, expand the sidebar first.

I can't open Settings

Your team role doesn't allow it. Ask the owner, a Super Admin or a Manager to make the change.

  • Meet Mujazly

Mujazly is the assistant inside Mujaz that answers questions about the platform and your account. It reads your numbers, your setup and the issue you have open, but it never sends, publishes or changes anything.

  • Send your first issue

Add at least one subscriber, press Create Newsletter and go through the editor's four steps: Start, Content, Settings and Review. Send yourself a test before you send.

  • Team roles

The “System Role” decides what a member can do: Super Admin, Manager, Editor, Viewer or None. The “Display Role” is just the title shown in the newsletter.

  • Create your account

Sign up with your email and a password, or with a Google or Microsoft account, then confirm your email and answer a few short setup questions. You can change everything later.
