Publish a post on the web or by email
From the Publish menu, choose Publish to web to put the post on your page without an email, or Publish and send… to publish it and email your readers. Once published, the post has a full link and a short link to share.
The Publish menu
- Publish to web: goes live on your page. No email.
- Publish and send…: live on your page and emailed to your readers. The send window opens so you pick the audience, then Send now or Schedule for later.
- Schedule…: the same send window, where you choose Schedule for later. Scheduling always sends an email — a web-only post can't be scheduled.
- Send a test email: to one address, exactly as subscribers will get it, with [TEST] in the subject.
- 1. Press Publish at the top of the editor.
- 2. Choose Publish to web or Publish and send….
- 3. Once it's live, copy the link from Link in the Settings column, or copy the Short link.
The post's page
The post lives at mujaz.io/@handle followed by its link, with a short link at mujaz.io/@handle followed by a 4-letter code. On the page, readers can like, share and recommend it, and find a subscribe form.
The email cut
If you email the post and it has an email cut, the email stops there with an invitation to continue reading on the web. Add it from / → Email.
After publishing
You see Your post is live with the Short link and Open the publish pack: the cards in all three sizes, a caption for each platform and the link preview. You can come back to it with Prepare the publish pack. See Share Kit.
The In Discover chip in the editor header says whether the post is listed in Discover, or from which date.
Editing after publishing
A published post has no separate draft: your edits are saved straight to the live page, and readers see them within about 15 seconds. Press Update on web to refresh the page immediately. If you change a published post's link, the old link keeps redirecting to the new one.
Taking a post down
There is no unpublish button. Delete the post with Delete post in the Settings column — emails already sent are not affected. Or switch your whole public page off in Settings → Public Page (Opens in the Mujaz app).
