Getting listed in Discover

Discover is Mujaz's public directory of Arabic newsletters, by subject. Your post is listed when your public page is on, your account is in good standing and the post passed the automatic content review, once your workspace is a day old.

Discover is where readers browse Arabic newsletters on Mujaz. There is nothing to apply for; listing is automatic.

When a post is listed

  • Your public page is on.
  • Your account is in good standing, not under review.
  • The post passed the automatic content review.
  • Your workspace is a day old. Accounts verified by Mujaz are listed at once.
  • A post without a review verdict is listed after 7 days.

See your post's state

A chip at the top of the Posts editor shows it:

  • “In Discover”: the post is listed.
  • “In Discover on” a date: your link works now, and the post will be listed on that day.
  • “Not in Discover” with the reason: the content review stopped it, the account is under review, or your public page is off.

Choose your category

  1. 1. Open Settings → Brand (Opens in the Mujaz app).
  2. 2. Pick your subject in “Category”.
  3. 3. Press “Save”.

Technology, Business, Finance and Health & Wellness have their own Discover pages. Other categories appear on the main directory page. Your “Account type” shows under your name there too.

Leaving Discover

There is no per-post opt-out. To leave the directory, turn “Enable public page” off, delete the post, or ask support.

Common questions

Why isn't my new post in Discover?

Check the chip at the top of the Posts editor. “In Discover on” a date means it will be listed that day. “Not in Discover” shows the reason next to it.

Can I hide just one post?

No. The options are turning the whole public page off, deleting the post, or writing to support.

How can I be listed from day one?

Verified accounts are listed at once. Mujaz grants verification; you can ask support. See The verified mark.

  • Account type and the verified mark

You choose your “Account type” in Settings → Brand, and it shows under your name. The “Verified” mark is given by Mujaz only. It can't be bought, it doesn't come with any plan, and there is no request button, but you can ask support.

  • Your public page

Your public page at mujaz.io/@handle shows your logo, name, a subscribe box and the archive of your posts. You set it up in Settings → Public Page, and changes save automatically.

  • Publish a post on the web or by email

From the Publish menu, choose Publish to web to put the post on your page without an email, or Publish and send… to publish it and email your readers. Once published, the post has a full link and a short link to share.
