Reader referrals and writer invites
The Growth page has two tabs: “Referrals” shows readers who recommend your newsletter, how their invitations did and the rewards they earned; “Invite writers” has your invite link for other writers. You set up the recommend button and rewards in Settings → Public Page → Engagement.
Open Growth (Opens in the Mujaz app) from the sidebar.
The “Referrals” tab: readers recommending you
The recommend button appears at the end of every issue and on your public page. When a reader uses it to invite people they know, the invitation and whether it worked show up here:
- The funnel: “Invited”, “Emails sent”, “Opened” and “Subscribed”.
- “Readers who bring people in”: readers ranked by how many of their invitations actually subscribed.
- “Recent recommendations”: the latest invitations, who sent them, to whom, and their status.
- “Rewards earned”: readers who reached a milestone you set.
Set up the recommend button and rewards
- 1. Open Settings → Public Page (Opens in the Mujaz app), then the “Engagement” tab.
- 2. Turn on the “Recommend Button”.
- 3. Write the “Incentive Message” readers see.
- 4. Add “Reward milestones”, up to 5. Changes save automatically.
When a reader reaches a milestone, Mujaz counts it and tells the reader they earned the reward. You hand the reward over, then press “Mark as given” next to their name under “Rewards earned”.
The “Invite writers” tab
- “Your invite link”, in the form mujaz.io/signup?invite=…; press “Copy link” to send it to a writer you know.
- “Writers joined” and “Published an issue”, and the list of writers who signed up through your link.
- There is no reward for inviting writers.

Common questions
Does Mujaz send the reward to the reader?
No. Mujaz counts and tells the reader they earned it. You hand it over, then press “Mark as given”.
How many reward milestones can I set?
Up to 5, in Settings → Public Page → Engagement → “Reward milestones”.
Do I get anything when a writer joins through my link?
No. There is no reward for inviting writers; the tab only shows who joined and who published.
