Account and password

Settings → Account shows your name, email and workspace name, and lets you change your password. A password needs at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.

Account information

In Account (Opens in the Mujaz app), “Account information” is read-only: name, email and workspace name. To change your name or login email, contact support. The workspace name follows your brand name, so change it in Brand (Opens in the Mujaz app).

Change your password

  1. 1. Open Account (Opens in the Mujaz app).
  2. 2. Under “Password”, enter your “Current Password”, then the “New Password”, then confirm it.
  3. 3. Press “Update Password”.

The rule: at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol from: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) , . ? " : { } | < >

  • “Validation failed”, or a long message starting “User validation failed: password”, means one of these is missing.
  • “Current password is incorrect” means the current password is wrong. If you forgot it, log out and use “Forgot password?” on the login page.

Google and Outlook accounts

An account created with Google or Outlook has no password. You can set one directly under “Password”, without being asked for a current one.

Dashboard language

The languages icon next to the Profile button at the bottom of the sidebar switches the interface between العربية and English. It is saved in that browser only, and it doesn't change your newsletter's language or what readers see. If the sidebar is collapsed, expand it first.

Common questions

How do I change my login email?

It can't be changed in Settings. Contact support at [email protected].

I forgot my current password. What now?

Log out, then press “Forgot password?” on the login page. See Can't sign in.

I pressed update and the password didn't change. Why?

Usually it's missing an uppercase or lowercase letter, a number or a symbol. Check the rule above.

  • Can't sign in

Start from the error you see: wrong password, an account created with Google, too many attempts, or an unverified email. Each has a short fix below.

  • Delete your account

Deleting your account closes it at once and cancels your paid plan at that moment. We keep the data for 30 days, then delete it permanently. Within those 30 days the account can be restored by writing to [email protected].

  • Notifications

Settings → Notifications sets which emails Mujaz sends you, where they go, and how often you get the performance report. Press “Save Preferences” after any change.

  • Team roles

The “System Role” decides what a member can do: Super Admin, Manager, Editor, Viewer or None. The “Display Role” is just the title shown in the newsletter.
