Delete your account
Deleting your account closes it at once and cancels your paid plan at that moment. We keep the data for 30 days, then delete it permanently. Within those 30 days the account can be restored by writing to [email protected].
Before you delete
- Export your subscribers from Subscribers → “Export” (Starter plan and up). See Export subscribers.
- Download the invoices you need from Billing → “Billing history”.
- If you want to keep the account without paying, cancel your plan instead. See Cancel your plan.
Steps
- 1. Open Account (Opens in the Mujaz app).
- 2. Press “Delete account”.
- 3. Enter your password. If your account was made with Google or Outlook, type your email instead.
- 4. Press “Confirm Delete”. You see the date of the permanent deletion, then you are signed out.
What stops at once
- Signing in to the account.
- Your public page and sign-up forms, so no one new can subscribe.
- All sending from the workspace, including scheduled newsletters.
- Your team's access to the workspace.
- Your paid plan: it is cancelled right away, with no further charges.
The 30 days
We keep the account's data for 30 days from the day you delete it, then delete it permanently. If you are the owner: that is the whole workspace: newsletters, subscribers, analytics, the Content Library, sponsor data and team. If you are a team member: you only leave the team; your content stays with the owner.
To restore the account within those 30 days, write to [email protected] from the email the account uses. Only the Mujaz team can restore it, and not after the 30 days have passed.
Billing
A paid plan is cancelled automatically at the moment of deletion, and the rest of the period isn't refunded automatically. If you are within the refund rules, email [email protected]. If Mujaz can't stop the plan, the account is not deleted, and you are told to try again or contact support. Restoring the account doesn't restart a cancelled plan; subscribe again if you want it.
For what happens to data after deletion, see the privacy policy.
