Send an issue now or schedule it

In the Review step, choose “Send immediately” or “Schedule for later”, then press the send button. You can cancel a schedule from the Scheduled tab as long as sending hasn't started.

Send or schedule

  1. 1. Open the issue and go to the “Review” step (“Review & Send”).
  2. 2. Under “Delivery Options”, choose “Send immediately” or “Schedule for later”.
  3. 3. To schedule, pick a date and time. Times go in 15-minute steps, use your browser's time zone, and must be at least 2 minutes ahead.
  4. 4. Press “Send Newsletter Now” or “Schedule Newsletter”. The button in the top bar does the same.

Once it's sending, a progress card in the corner shows how many emails have gone out, then the success page offers “Create Share Card”. The issue moves to the Sent tab and you get a “Newsletter Sent” email.

  • The issue goes out to everyone at the time you chose.
  • The checklist items on the Review step are reminders only; they don't block sending.
  • If your workspace uses approval before sending, editors press “Submit for approval” instead.

Change the time or cancel a schedule

  • Change the time: open the scheduled issue, go to Review, and schedule it again. The new time replaces the old one.
  • Cancel: in Newsletters (Opens in the Mujaz app), open the “Scheduled” tab, press “Cancel schedule” on the issue's card and confirm. The issue goes back to Drafts.
  • “Send Now” on a scheduled card and “Schedule” on a draft only open the Review step; they don't send anything by themselves.

What “Sending…” means

An issue that is going out, or waiting its turn in the send queue, sits in the Sent tab with a “Sending…” badge until it finishes. While it does, the editor is read-only.

A sent issue can't be edited. To fix a mistake, press “Duplicate” on its card to get a new draft with the same content, edit it, and send that.

Common questions

Which time zone does scheduling use?

Your browser's time zone. The issue goes out to all subscribers at that time.

Can I edit an issue after sending it?

No. Duplicate it, edit the copy, and send that.

Where are my scheduled issues?

In Newsletters (Opens in the Mujaz app) → the “Scheduled” tab, with each issue's time.

  • Send a test email before you send

In the editor's Review step, send a test copy of the issue to yourself before it reaches subscribers. Each issue can be tested to up to 5 different addresses, and every test counts toward your monthly email allowance.

  • Why a send was held or refused

Mujaz checks every send before it goes out. An issue can be held for a quick review, moved to just after midnight by the daily limit, or refused for a specific reason. The message you see points to the cause and the fix.

  • Resend an issue to people who didn't open it

On a sent issue's analytics page, press “Resend to people who didn't open”. Mujaz makes a new draft aimed at people who received the issue and didn't open it, and sends nothing until you do. Available on every plan.

  • Duplicate and translate an issue

On an issue's card in Newsletters, press Duplicate for a new draft with the same content and audience. Press Translate to English or Translate to Arabic for a translated draft in the other language (Starter and up).
