A subscriber's profile

The profile puts everything about a subscriber in one place: status, how they joined, what they opened, their lists and tags, and their place in the welcome sequence. Open it from ⋮ on their row → “View profile”.

Last updated:
  1. 1. Open Subscribers (Opens in the Mujaz app) and search by email or name.
  2. 2. Press ⋮ on the subscriber's row.
  3. 3. Choose “View profile”.

What the profile shows

  • Status and subscribe date, and why, if they aren't active: “Waiting for confirmation” with the last confirmation email date, “Unsubscribed …” with the date, and the reason if the reader picked one, “Emails to this address bounce”, or “Marked an email as spam”.
  • “Engagement”: “Opens”, “Clicks”, “Last opened” and “Last activity”.
  • “Recent emails”: emails sent to them in the last 90 days, plus older ones they opened. The welcome email and sequence steps carry a “Welcome” or “Sequence” badge.
  • “Lists & tags”: with “Edit tags” and “Add to list”.
  • “How they joined”: “Source” (such as the public page, an embedded form, a CSV import or Share Kit), “Signup page”, and “Referred by” if a reader recommended you.
  • “Welcome sequence”: the current step, such as “Step 2 of 5”, and the next email's date, the date it completed, or “Paused — the automation is turned off”.

Resend the confirmation email

For Pending subscribers only: press “Resend confirmation” in the profile or the ⋮ menu. Once per person every 10 minutes, and 30 an hour per workspace.

Common questions

Can I edit a subscriber's name or email from the profile?

Not at the moment. You can edit their tags and add them to lists.

Why does it say they didn't open an email I know they read?

Some email apps hide opens, so Mujaz never sees them. The numbers are approximate, especially for small sends.

  • Subscriber statuses: unsubscribes, bounces and complaints

Every subscriber has a status, and Mujaz only sends to Active ones. People who unsubscribed, bounced or reported spam can't be brought back by an import; only the reader can subscribe again.

  • Tags: group your subscribers

A tag is a short word you put on a subscriber to group them with others. Tag one person from “Edit tags”, or many at once with the “Tags” button, then send to everyone with a tag using the editor's “Tag Filter”.

  • The welcome email for new subscribers

The welcome email goes automatically to every new subscriber the moment they become active, once per subscriber. Create it in Settings → “Automation”, then switch on “Enable automation”. Available on every plan.

  • Who opened and clicked

On any issue's analytics page, press “Who?” next to a number to see the people behind it: who opened, clicked, didn't open, bounced or reported it as spam. Every bounce shows its reason.
