The welcome email for new subscribers
The welcome email goes automatically to every new subscriber the moment they become active, once per subscriber. Create it in Settings → “Automation”, then switch on “Enable automation”. Available on every plan.
Set up the welcome email
- 1. Open Settings → Automation (Opens in the Mujaz app).
- 2. Under “Welcome email”, press “Create welcome email”. A ready-made draft opens in the same editor you use for your issues.
- 3. Edit it as you like and give it an “Email Subject Line”.
- 4. Go back to the tab and switch on “Enable automation”.
It won't switch on until the email exists and has a subject. You'll see “Create your welcome email before you can turn it on.” or “Add a subject line to the welcome email before turning it on.”. To change it later, press “Edit email”.
Who gets it
- Everyone who subscribes from now on, on your public page or through the embedded form.
- With double opt-in on, they get it after they confirm. Every account's first 7 days force double opt-in.
- It isn't sent to your existing subscribers, to people you import, or to people you add by hand.
- Each subscriber gets it once, ever.
A welcome email can't be scheduled or sent to a list; it goes out on its own to each new subscriber.
Activity
The “Activity” section on the same tab shows “Total emails sent” and when it was last sent.
Only the owner, a Super Admin or a Manager can open Settings.
Common questions
I added someone by hand and they didn't get the welcome email. Why?
The welcome email isn't sent for manual adds or imports, only for people who subscribe on your page or form.
How do I stop the welcome email?
Switch off “Enable automation” on the same tab.
