A timed sequence of past issues
After the welcome email, you can send each new subscriber up to 5 past issues, each on a day you choose between day 1 and day 60 after they joined. Add the steps under “Follow-up steps” in Settings → “Automation”.
Add the steps
- 1. Open Settings → Automation (Opens in the Mujaz app).
- 2. Create the welcome email first if you haven't. The sequence only runs while “Enable automation” is on.
- 3. Under “Follow-up steps”, press “Add step”.
- 4. Pick a published issue in “Choose an issue…” and set the “Day”, from 1 to 60.
- 5. Repeat for up to 5 steps.
- 6. Press “Save steps”.
Rules
- Days are counted from when the reader subscribed.
- Each step's day must come after the step before it.
- The same issue can't appear in two steps.
- Reorder steps with “Move up” and “Move down”, and delete one with “Remove step”.
- If you delete an issue a step uses, you'll see “Issue no longer available”; choose another.
Who gets the sequence
People who subscribe from now on, just like the welcome email. It isn't sent to existing subscribers, or to people you import or add by hand. Every new subscriber gets the same steps in the same order, with no conditions or branches.
Someone who already received an issue skips that step automatically. That's why each step shows how many were sent and how many skipped, and a low sent count can still be right.
Common questions
Can I add more than 5 steps?
No. The maximum is 5 steps after the welcome email.
Why has a step sent fewer emails than I have new subscribers?
People who already got that issue skip the step, and a step only goes out once its day arrives.
Can I pick an issue that hasn't been sent?
No. Steps use published issues only.
