Add a subscriber by hand
On the Subscribers page, press “Add Subscriber”, type the email, and pick a list and language if you like. The person is added as Active and gets your next issues; the welcome email automation does not start.
- 1. Open Subscribers (Opens in the Mujaz app).
- 2. Press “Add Subscriber”.
- 3. Type the “Email *”. It's the only required field.
- 4. Add a “Name (optional)”.
- 5. Pick a list in “Add to List” if you want. Everyone is also in “All Subscribers”.
- 6. Type tags in “Tags (comma separated)”, up to 10.
- 7. Choose the “Language”: العربية or English.
- 8. Press “Add Subscriber”.
Special cases
- If the email is already there, nothing changes.
- Someone who unsubscribed is not re-subscribed this way. Only the reader can subscribe again, from your public page or a sign-up form.
- Adding by hand does not start the welcome email automation.
- If your plan is full, you'll see that you've reached your plan's subscriber limit. See Subscriber limits.
Common questions
Does the person get an email when I add them?
They don't get the welcome email. They start receiving the issues you send after you add them.
Can I edit a subscriber's name or email later?
Not at the moment. You can change their tags and lists from their profile.
How do I bring back someone who unsubscribed?
You can't from the dashboard. They can subscribe again from your public page or a form.

- Import subscribers from a CSV file
In Subscribers press Import CSV and pick a CSV file up to 10 MB with an email column. Mujaz detects the columns by itself, and importing never sends anything.
- Subscriber lists
A list is a group of subscribers you send a particular issue to. Create one on the Subscriber Lists tab, add people by hand or with a CSV, then choose it in the editor under “Audience Segment”.
- Tags: group your subscribers
A tag is a short word you put on a subscriber to group them with others. Tag one person from “Edit tags”, or many at once with the “Tags” button, then send to everyone with a tag using the editor's “Tag Filter”.
- Subscriber limits on each plan
Each plan has a maximum number of subscribers, from 500 on Free to 50,000 on Scale. Active and Pending subscribers count. At the limit, manual adds and imports stop, but sign-ups from your page and forms are never refused, and sending isn't blocked.
