How to grow your list with Mujaz's own tools
New readers come from places you can set up: a public page worth visiting, a sign-up form on your site, readers who recommend you, newsletters you recommend each other with, Discover, and Share Kit. This guide shows how to make each one work.
There is no single trick that doubles your subscribers overnight. Real growth comes from many small openings: a clear link people know, an easy place to subscribe where they already read you, and a reason for a current reader to tell a friend about you.
On Mujaz most of these openings are ready on every plan, Free included. Your job is to set them up once, then write an issue worth sharing.
One rule first: only people who asked
The list that helps you is a list of people who asked to hear from you. Bought or scraped addresses don't read, and they hurt your sending reputation with mailbox providers, which pushes your issues toward spam even for your real readers.
That is why Mujaz refuses imports that look purchased or scraped, and never re-adds anyone who unsubscribed or reported an issue as spam. If you have a list you gathered with permission on another platform, read Import subscribers.
Your public page: the address you give people
Every newsletter on Mujaz has a public page at mujaz.io/@handle, with a subscribe box, an introduction and an archive of what you've published. This is the link you put in your profiles, your email signature and anywhere people see you.
- Pick a short link that reads easily. Change it in Settings → Brand → “Your link”; the old link keeps working and sends visitors to the new one. Details in Your handle.
- Write a description that answers the visitor's question: what you write about, for whom, and how often. It shows on your page and in the footer of every email.
- Fill the archive. Visitors often decide after reading one past issue. Turn on “Publish to public page” in the Audience tab for every issue that still reads well later, and publish your long articles from Posts.
- Set what shows when your link is pasted. In Public Page → General you'll find the SEO title, description and the share image (1200×630).

A sign-up form where people already read you
If you have a website or blog, it is the best place to ask for a subscription: the visitor is there because they care about what you write. In Settings → Form Integration you design a simple form and copy its code into your site, whether WordPress, Webflow or Shopify.
- Make the form's title a specific promise, not a slogan. “A weekly look at the job market, every Thursday” says more than “Subscribe to our newsletter”.
- Ask for a name only if you'll use it. Every extra field is another reason to hesitate.
- If you write in Arabic and English, turn on “Collect language preference” so each reader lands in the list for their language automatically.

The reader who brings a reader
The most honest recommendation is one reader telling a friend. At the end of every issue and on your public page there is a recommend button that lets a reader send your newsletter to people they know.
You can give that button a reason. In Public Page → Engagement → “Recommend Button” you write an incentive message and set up to five reward milestones, such as a special issue, a readers' meetup or a copy of a book. Mujaz counts the recommendations and tells the reader when they reach a milestone; handing over the reward is up to you.
- Choose rewards you can always deliver; a promise that isn't kept does more harm than good.
- Make the first milestone close, so readers see the effect of recommending you quickly.
- Follow the results in Growth → Referrals: who was invited, who opened, who subscribed, and your top readers. When you hand over a reward, press “Mark as given”.

Newsletters you recommend, and that recommend you
You can recommend up to ten other Mujaz newsletters, each with a short note. Your recommendations show on your page and after your posts, and as a one-click list a reader sees right after subscribing to you.
Recommending is a relationship between writers. Pick newsletters you actually read and your readers would value, then tell their writers you've recommended them; some may return the favour. The steps: Recommendations.
Discover: readers looking for Arabic newsletters
Discover is Mujaz's public directory of Arabic newsletters, by subject. Your post appears there when your public page is on, your account is in good standing and the post passed the automatic content review; it lists once the workspace is a day old.
- Choose the right Category in Brand; that is how the directory knows where to place you. Technology, Business, Finance and Health & Wellness have their own pages; other categories appear on the main page.
- Choose your Account type: Independent writer, Publisher or media, or Business. It shows under your name on your page and in Discover.
- In the Posts editor, the “In Discover” chip tells you each post's state, or the date it will appear.

Share Kit: from “I published” to “I shared”
A good issue doesn't spread on its own. Share Kit turns each post into cards in three sizes, a carousel and ready captions for each platform with a tracked link; later, the Results tab shows which card brought you subscribers.
And for the world off-screen: stickers and a table card with a QR code that leads to your public page, printed on A4. Useful at a book fair, a café or a talk. Every part is explained with real examples in the Share Kit guide.
A simple weekly habit
- 1Put your public page link everywhere you appear, once.
- 2Publish the issue and share it from Share Kit on the day it goes out.
- 3Once a week, check Results in Share Kit and Referrals in Growth, and repeat what worked.
- 4Give new subscribers a welcome worth reading; see Welcome emails that work.
Questions
Do these tools need a paid plan?
No. The public page, the sign-up form, the recommend button, recommendations, Discover and Share Kit are on every plan, Free included. Only Share Kit's AI parts use your monthly AI allowance.
Why do some new subscribers show as Pending?
During every account's first 7 days, double opt-in is required: the subscriber gets a confirmation email and receives nothing until they click the link. After that, you can turn it on or off in Form Integration → Advanced.
Will a new subscriber be turned away if I reach my plan's limit?
No. Sign-ups from your public page and forms are never refused; a warning appears on your dashboard when you go over. The limit only stops manual adds and imports.
How do I know where each subscriber came from?
A subscriber's profile shows “How they joined”: the source, the page and who referred them. Share Kit's Results tab counts subscribers by card.
